Sugaring

Sugaring is a tried and tested form of hair removal that involves the removal of hair, without the removal of live skin cells. Though it may be newer to the Western world, sugaring had its start in the 19th century BC in what was then, the Persian Empire. While honey may have been the first solution that was tried, as it began to grow in worldwide popularity, many cultures began to try their own sugaring agents, until the process was refined and perfected into the hair removal procedure that we know today. While some mistakenly believe sugaring to be the same as waxing, the more common of the two hair removal processes, sugaring has many benefits over its harsher and more painful counterpart. If you’re on the fence and considering making the switch from waxing to sugaring, you’re in for a treat. Not only is sugaring less painful than waxing, but it also has a number of other benefits.
